Driving Directions
From Virginia Beach, Williamsburg and Richmond
Take Interstate 64 west to Richmond, Va. Exit 200 onto I-295 towards Washington, D.C., and Charlottesville. Approx. 20 miles exit onto I-64 west, following signs to Charlottesville. Proceed on I-64 west past Charlottesville to exit 99 at Afton Mountain. Take Blue Ridge Parkway south to exit 27, Route 56 (Tye River Tpk.) Left onto Route 56 east approx 2 miles to Route 686 (Zinks Mill School Road). Left on Route 686 to address 964 on the right.
Avoid this route during winter months since the Parkway is sometimes shut down due to snow. Follow alternate route below year-round.
Year-Round Alternate Route
Any other time continue on I-64 west past exit 99 approx. 12 miles to intersection of Interstate 64 and Interstate 81. Merge left onto I-81 south towards Lexington, Roanoke. Exit 205 Raphine/Steele’s Tavern. This is also the White’s Truck Stop exit. Bottom of the ramp turn left onto Route 606 east. Continue approx 1 mile to Hwy 11. Left onto Hwy 11, turn right approx 200 yards onto route 56 east. Proceed up Route 56 east until it crosses under the Blue Ridge Parkway. You will see signs for Montebello. Precede approx 2 miles to Route 686 (Zinks Mill School Road). Left onto Route 686 approx 1 mile, address 964 on the right.
From the Washington, D.C., Area
Take Interstate 66 west to Interstate 81 south towards Harrisonburg, Staunton and Lexington. Exit 205 Raphine/Steeles Tavern. This is also the exit for White’s Truck Stop. Bottom of ramp turn left onto Route 606 east. Precede approx 1 mile to Hwy 11. Left onto Hwy 11, turn right approx 200 yards onto Route 56 east. Proceed up Route 56 east until it crosses the Blue Ridge Parkway. You will see signs for Montebello. Precede approx 2 miles to Route 686 (Zinks Mill School Road). Left onto Route 686 approx 1 mile, address 964 on right.
From Roanoke and Southwest Virginia
Take Exit 205 Raphine/ Steeles Tavern. Take Route 606 east to Hwy 11. Turn left on Hwy 11 approx 200 yards turn right onto Route 56 east. Proceed up Route 56 east until it crosses the Blue Ridge Parkway. You will see signs for Montebello. Continue on Route 56 east approx 2 miles to route 686 (Zinks Mill School Road). Left onto Route 686 approx 1 mile, address 964 on right.
From Lynchburg and South
Take Route 29 north, turn left onto Route 151 north. Approx 11 miles turn left onto Route 56 west. Continue approx 16-17 miles through Montebello to Route 686 (Zinks Mill School Road). Right onto Route 686 approx 1 mile, address 964 on right.
